Who Is K Wood?
After leaving school, Kirk Wood served his time with a local building firm whilst also attending Blackpool & The Fylde College where he acquired NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in bricklaying. After gaining his NVQs, he chose to stay on for a further year to complete the Advanced Craft in Brickwork which he passed in 1997.
He spent the next few months working with his father whilst deciding what he was going to do.
He started K Wood Builders in 1998 and hasn't looked back since.
Kirk has never forgotten his bricklaying roots, he started off building garden walls and taking on small jobs in and around Lancashire. K Wood Builders are happy to take on any job no matter how big or small.
We offer a friendly, professional, yet personal service and have had many very happy and satisfied customers over the last 20+ years.
